Nevada is the only state on this site whose general rule explicitly covers the middle of the night. The season is open all year and the hours are any hour at all.
Every season we have verified in Nevada
One block per rule, because a single species can be on two calendars in the same state depending on the water. The band under each heading is the legal season; the row under it is what our own data says the fish are doing.
Trout — Statewide default
The regulation reads: "Unless otherwise noted under Region Special Regulations, the season is open year around and fishing hours are any time of the day or night." Nevada divides itself into Western, Southern and Eastern regions, each with its own general limits, and individual waters override those as special regulations.

Bass — Statewide default
Nevada sorts its fish into coldwater and warmwater groups and then sets a combined limit for each, which is a different structure from the species-by-species tables most states use. One rule catches visitors out: game fish may not be transported alive from the water they came out of, so the fish has to be killed before it leaves.

What the water is doing while the season is open
This is the part an agency page will not tell you. The temperature row above is the seasonal curve we use for the 5 of 14 Nevada waters we track on a trout stillwater profile, and it is why an opening date and a fishable date are not the same thing. A season that opens while the water is still in the forties is a legal invitation, not a biological one: the fish are there, they are just not eating on your schedule yet. Cross the legal band against the activity row before you book the day off.
