How these are made
Each place is matched to the nearest NOAA tide prediction station, no more than 20 km away, and the page says which station and how far. Reference stations have their own harmonic predictions; subordinate stations are derived by NOAA from a reference station with fixed offsets and give highs and lows only. All heights are in feet above mean lower low water. These are predictions of the astronomical tide, not measurements, and not for navigation.
