The Warren at Pemberton
Pemberton is the karri-forest town of Western Australia’s south-west, and the Warren River runs past it through tall forest and farmland toward the Southern Ocean at Warren Beach; the Pemberton Weir gauging site sits on the river near the town. The Bureau of Meteorology’s Pemberton gauges have not reported recent readings to Water Data Online, so this page carries no level chart.

Rainbow and brown trout are the sport fish of the Warren and the streams around Pemberton, taken on lures, the fly and bait in the forest pools; redfin are common, and marron live in the river under their own licence and season.
