Every season we have verified in Nebraska
One block per rule, because a single species can be on two calendars in the same state depending on the water. The band under each heading is the legal season; the row under it is what our own data says the fish are doing.
Bass — Statewide, hook and line
The season table lists hook and line as "Year-round" and then spends its length on everything else. The one rule that does bite statewide is the trophy cap: however many bass you keep, only one may be twenty-one inches or longer.

Walleye — Statewide
Same structure as the bass rule — a minimum at the bottom and a cap at the top — which is how Nebraska protects the spawning-size fish without closing the season.

Paddlefish — Paddlefish and method seasons
The dates Nebraska does publish are for method and for paddlefish: archery for paddlefish June 1 to 30, snagging October 1 to 31, underwater spearfishing for game fish July 1 to December 31, and bullfrogs August 15 to October 31 east of Highway 81 and year-round west of it. Trout runs to five a day with no more than one over sixteen inches on all waters except the Sutherland Canal.

What the water is doing while the season is open
This is the part an agency page will not tell you. The temperature row above is the seasonal curve we use for the 9 of 13 Nebraska waters we track on a prairie walleye profile, and it is why an opening date and a fishable date are not the same thing. A season that opens while the water is still in the forties is a legal invitation, not a biological one: the fish are there, they are just not eating on your schedule yet. Cross the legal band against the activity row before you book the day off.

Are these Nebraska dates going to change?
