Utah Fishing License

$40.00 for residents, $120.00 for visitors, all waters. Every fee below is checked against UDWR and dated.

Utah runs its licence on a rolling 365 days from purchase rather than a calendar year, which makes a summer buy worth the full twelve months rather than a stub. It also prices by age band rather than the usual adult-or-child split: twelve to thirteen, fourteen to seventeen, eighteen to sixty-four, and sixty-five and over each pay a different rate, for residents and visitors alike. Non-resident fees rose in July 2025.

Stamps and add-ons

The base licence is often not the whole ticket. These are the Utah extras, and missing one is the commonest way to get written up with a valid licence in your pocket.

How to buy it

Utah Division of Wildlife Resources sells online, by phone and through licence agents: tackle shops, sporting goods stores and county offices. Buying online takes about ten minutes and you can print or screenshot the confirmation immediately.

We link the agency and never resell licences. If a site charges you a "processing fee" on top of the state fee, you are not on the state's own system.
