The Corps lists 11 boat ramps: two each at Rocky Creek and Yegua Creek parks (Corps), Lake Somerville Marina and Campground and Big Creek Park (concessionaires), Welch Park (City of Somerville), Apache Hills and Birch Creek Forest (Burleson County), and the Birch Creek and Nails Creek units of the state park (TPWD). On Oct. 8, 2026 the Corps listed the Rocky Creek boat ramp as closed, and TPWD's lake page warns that some parks and ramps are closed by high water or flood damage.
