The State Water Project's highest lake

Silverwood Lake, formed by Cedar Springs Dam, is the highest reservoir in the State Water Project and lies in the San Bernardino National Forest. The recreation area is off Highway 138 and Cleghorn Road, 11 miles east of I-15, or 20 miles north of San Bernardino by Highways 18 and 138. The Department of Water Resources manages the water.
