The Goodradigbee at Wee Jasper
Wee Jasper is the small valley village on the Goodradigbee River west of Yass, where the river runs clear over gravel and limestone through farmland and forest before it enters the Goodradigbee arm of Burrinjuck Dam. The valley has camping reserves along the river, and the Bureau of Meteorology’s gauge at Wee Jasper supplies the river level and the 30-day chart on this page. Burrinjuck Dam has its own page.

Brown and rainbow trout are the fish of the Goodradigbee at Wee Jasper, in the runs and the pools on the fly, lures and bait; the lower river toward Burrinjuck also holds native fish. The Goodradigbee is a trout stream under the New South Wales general trout stream season, closed from the Tuesday after the June long weekend to the last Friday before the October long weekend; the species card computes it.
